Javna concludes series of meetings with Silicon Valley blue
chips
Feb.1-2009 – Amman, Javna has concluded a series of meetings with top executives
at major hi-tech companies based in Silicon Valley, during a 3-day Silicon
Valley Tour organized by Endeavor, in which Javna discussed prospects of
cooperation to develop the wireless sector.
The CEO and Co-founder of Javna, Mansour Mansour's visit to
Silicon Valley was made possible after being selected by Endeavor to join its
global network at an International Selection Panel in South Africa during 2008.
Endeavor's International Selection Panel is the culmination of a rigorous
multi-step Search & Selection Process where top business leaders interview and
then offer guidance to entrepreneur candidates. Endeavor provides selected
entrepreneurs with customized services from successful business mentors,
consulting firms and top U.S. business schools.
Welcoming his selection as an Endeavor Entrepreneur, Mansour said:
"I am proud to join Endeavor's network, which came less
than a year after Javna joined the Platinum Symbian partnership. These
achievements stand testimony to the distinguished technical expertise and
technological capabilities of Javna".
He added: "Undoubtedly, joining Endeavor has a moral value, but the real value
hinges on the way we are able to engage the Endeavor network to knock on the
doors of technology sector leaders like Dell, Google, Facebook and e-Bay, among
other giants."
On the outcome of Javna's visit to Silicon Valley, the CEO said: "Most of the
meetings were very positive. For the first time, we had the opportunity to get a
first-hand look at the present and future needs of companies. As a firm
specialized in wireless applications, Javna will reinforce its research and
development efforts to devise the necessary technical solutions to meet these
needs."
